It is the world standard that ensures compliance with Good Agricultural Practices (G.A.P.) or its acronym in English G.A.P. GLOBAL G.A.P. is a global organization with a fundamental objective: safe and sustainable agricultural production worldwide. They are responsible for establishing voluntary standards for the certification of agricultural products throughout the world and in C.I. AgroGaira S.A.S we are willing to comply with them; That is why we have this certification and constantly adjust processes to comply with the compliance criteria established by the standard, thus constantly obtaining recertification (certificate renewal (Global G.A.P.).

This is why our members have developed GRASP, a GLOBALG.A.P. The acronym GRASP stands for GLOBALG.A.P. Risk Assessment. for Social Practices, and is a voluntary and ready-to-use module, developed to assess social practices on the farm, addressing specific issues related to the health, safety and well-being of workers.

Fairtrade represents an alternative to conventional trade and is based on cooperation between producers and consumers. Fairtrade offers producers a standard that seeks a fairer deal with commercial terms. This allows producers to improve the living conditions of their workers, create a social conscience towards the environment and ensure the well-being of the worker's family. I.C. Agrogaira S.A.S since 2019 is certified under the international FAIRTRADE standard; With this, we have been able to have a positive impact on the quality of life and well-being of our workers, since we are convinced that they are our most important asset.
With the FAIRTRADE certification, CORPORACIÓN LA GAIRA LA FAMILIA emerged, an entity created with the purpose of managing the Fairtrade Premium.

By using SMETA, a supplier can carry out one audit and share it with multiple customers, instead of having to do separate audits for each customer.
